We do not condemn or disapprove

but we assert that detaining Aktham Ne'aisa is considered a continuation to what the Arab governmental regulations do, like suppressing voices that claim the freedom of opinion expression and recognizing principles and beliefs of Human Rights

With regard to detaining the Syrian human rights activist Aktham Ne'aisa, the spokesman for the committees of defending Syrian human rights and on the light of his movements for releasing the Syrian human rights activists detained by Syrian authorities, the Human Rights Association for the Assistance of Prisoners does not condemn or disapprove this act but asserts that detaining Aktham Ne'aisa is considered a continuation to what the Arab governmental regulations do, like suppressing voices that claim the freedom of opinion expression and recognizing principles and beliefs of human rights, it also asserts that although these governments and regulations declared clearly that rejecting any interventions or proposals of political amelioration from abroad, they themselves allow such interventions or proposals as a normal reaction to their oppressive procedures.

            The persistence of some Arab governmental regulations to dodge and put off applying real democracy, and recognizing principles and beliefs of human rights and restricting the movements of civil societies organizations to heavy handicapping and binding laws do not only constrain to depriving the nations of the region of practicing their fundamental rights but this draws all of us into conflicts, like what happens in Iraq today.

            We, in Egypt and HRAAP, are not satisfied with claiming the Syrian authorities to release this activist or even release all detainees of the human rights activists, but we claim all Arab governments to respond to their nations to generalize and firm up democracy and allow practicing the freedom of opinion expression, and release all political detainees and provide reasonable space for the civil society organizations to work freely, and allow without restrictions forming parties and reinforce the principles of authority alternation and forming newspapers and the freedom of journalism according to what the international charters and covenants recognizes, and stop dodging and putting off achieving these requests.
