The suspects in this case are:
Amr Mohammed Abdel-Aziz Mohammed (an officer in investigations administration, Giza)
Amr Mohammed Reda Abdel-Hamid (the chief of investigations, Al-Baragil district)
Al-Sayed Al-Sa'ed Ali Al-Bughdady (police Major then- now, the chief of investigations, Kerdasa district)

Araby Al-Sayed Ebady (police secretary, Omraneia police station)
Abdel-Megid Mustafa Abdel-Megid (now, the chief of the financial and administrative department in general administration of investigations, Giza)
The incidents of the case date from 28/2/2000 till 7/3/2000, whereas the first seven suspects-public employees in Imbaba police station district- tortured the victim/ Sayed Kenawy Selim Al-Saghir during detaining him in Imbaba police station. He was tortured by beating by sticks, whips and electrifying different parts of his body, and injured him as explained in the coroner report which stated that he died of electricity, with the intention of forcing him to confess a theft crime. They made a bargain with the eighth suspect (public employee) to forge the official report of the officer in 7/3/2000, to set a different date and place to the true date and place of arrest, and he died because of his serious illness circumstances as a result of chasing and arresting him, in contrast with the truth. They helped the eighth suspect by narrating the false incidents.
The eighth suspect, as an employee, forged the official report by making up false incidents rather than the true one, although he knows the truth thoroughly.
