A life in danger

Aktham Ne'esa was afflicted with paresis as a result of maltreatment

His life is in danger as a result of afflicting with shortage in coronary artery and depriving him of having medicine

             The Egyptian organizations ratified this statement express their concern about the continuation of detaining the human right activist Aktham Ne'esa "lawyer and the chief of the committees of defending freedoms in Syria and its spokesman", whereas trusted information asserts that his health are getting worse constantly because of maltreatment and preventing the Syrian authorities to provide him with any medicine in his prison although he is afflicted with a deficiency in coronary artery in heart, so he needs intensive medical care. Moreover, he was afflicted with a coagulum in his brain as a result of maltreatment and prolonged investigations that led to disability to move his hand, consequently the investigators were obliged to take his fingerprint on his testimony rather than his signature.

            It was mentioned that the aforementioned was arrested at the hand of the military intelligence in Al-Lazekkeya on the allegation of defaming Syria abroad and abusing the reputation of the state and party, and endeavoring to destroy the principles of the revolution. The committees of defending freedoms in Syria have begun a campaign to claim political amendment and abolishing emergency law applied in Syria more than 40 years ago. The Egyptian organizations ratified this statement asserts, according to trusted information, that there is an intentional trial to assassinate him by depriving him of medical care in addition to detaining him incommunicado in Sidny prison assigned for detainees on criminal cases. 

            The ratified Egyptian organizations burden the Syrian government the entire responsibility for what happened or may happen to Aktham as a result of the lack of medical care or maltreatment or torture, In addition they call it to release him immediately without a condition and give up pursuing him the Syrian human rights activists that decided to form a body to defend the activist Aktham Ne'esa. These organizations requested the representative of the Syrian lawyers to allow her to defend the mentioned activist before the Syrian security state court.
