The Human Rights Center for the Assistance of Prisoners (HRCAP) organizes a literary evening on Monday, April 14, 2003.The literary evening will include movie show for the film Al-Hroub Min Al-Khanka “ Escape from the Psych Ward” as well as a colloquium on the circumstances surrounding the film’s production and the role the cinema in establishing and strengthening human rights principles.

Dr. Nagi Fawzi will present the main discussion paper. The following film stars will join the discussions:

1-The Honorable Actress: Magda Al-Khatib.

2-The Honorable Director: Mohamed Radi.

3-The Honorable Photographer: Ahmed Al-Khatib.

The film will be shown between 5.00 PM and 7.00 PM. At the Lotus hall at Pyramisa Hotel. The discussion will immediately after the movie and will be followed by a tea break.

It is worth mentioning that, this the thirteenth colloquium organized by the HRCAP, the other twelve colloquiums which the HRCAP has organized were organized during the months of May, June, July, August, September, October, November, December 2002, January, February and March 2003, in which the following films have been showed and discussed:

“AL Karanak”, “Al Hurub”, “Al Mazag”, “Al Afokato”, “Halawat Al Ruh”, “Wara El Shams”, “Al Sarakha” “ Ehna Botea Al atobees” “AL Bedaya”, “Kalam Fi AlMamnou”, “The Innocent”, and “Talata Ala Al-Tarik”.

This colloquium is organized within the framework of the HRCAP campaign against the Phenomena of Torture. The campaign includes discussions, colloquiums and literary evenings as well as exhibitions.
