Delaying the case of the police officers in Alexandri

To the session of 6/1/2004 for hearing confirmation and denial

Witnesses 

 

Alexandria court of serious crimes decided in today’s session delaying the case No 623 to the session of 6/1/2004 , to hear the first witness of confirmation   testimony Mohammed Badreddin “the victim” and collecting the complaint submitted from the Public Attorney , also hearing the testimony of the lawyers / Mohammed Eltunsy and Mustafa Afify, and lady/ Hala Yousef the social specialist who received the daughter of the victim, as the court allowed the suspets to bring the denial witnesses and submitting the documents.

This trial is after the Attorney General decision of referring the suspects to the serious crimes court for accusing them of torturing the citizen Mohammed Badreddin Gom’a in El-Montaza police station, who is forced to confess of killing his daughter.

This trial comes after waiting for about five years, after the verdict of the court in 1998 by referring the documents to the Attorney General to investigate the incident of torture. This session was specified to prosecute six officers from twelve, they were decided against them a decision from Attorney General by referring them to the court of serious crimes.
